Please plan to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled volunteer shift so you can check in and receive instructions and start on time. We open the warehouse doors 10 minutes before the start of the shift and will begin all projects and training promptly.
You will be volunteering at our warehouse, which is located at 9947 Harwin Drive, Suite B, Houston, TX 77036. Please note that you will not be able to see 9947 from the street. Turn in between 9941 and 9949 Harwin Drive. Come straight back between the two buildings and our warehouse is on the right. Look for the BBK banner hanging outside the doorway.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed, rubber-soled shoes. Our warehouse is not climate controlled, so consider the outside temperature when planning your attire and dress in layers, if needed.
We highly recommend bringing a water bottle with you. If you would like other drinks or snacks, feel free to bring them. No food or drinks are allowed in our warehouse, so these must be consumed in our volunteer lobby.
If you require any special accommodations please let us know before your volunteer shift so we can plan accordingly. Unfortunately, our warehouse is currently not ADA accessible.
