May is our favorite month because there is so much celebrating going on in our world. This year, we celebrated reading and books with children at 32 different schools – and boy, were they excited about their new books!! We have so many great memories stored away! HISD’s press department joined us at one of our book celebrations (Bonham Elementary) and captured some of the fun we all had that day. John Ujda, VP of Marketing for Better World Books, our largest book donor, had come all the way from Atlanta to see first-hand what we’ve been up to here in Houston!
