On Sunday, October 26, members of the West Houston Lodge of B’nai B’rith gathered at Belmont Village in Bellaire for an afternoon of learning, community, and shared purpose. The group welcomed special guest Kayla Hand, Executive Director of Books Between Kids, to speak about the organization’s mission and its impact across Houston.
During the meeting, lodge members generously donated new and gently used children’s books to support the nonprofit’s work. In addition to the book donation, the group presented Kayla with a $100 contribution, helping fuel future book distributions and bring the joy of book ownership to even more Houston children.
Books Between Kids is grateful for the warm welcome and continued support from community groups like the West Houston Lodge of B’nai B’rith. Together, we’re helping turn more young readers into lifelong learners — one book at a time.
