Volunteering at our warehouse can be a fun and rewarding experience. Projects vary based on needs but may include counting/inventorying donations, sorting books, boxing books, helping to stock the sorting tables, and cleaning the warehouse. Our volunteer shifts are 2 hours in length and are held at the Books Between Kids warehouse. Children as young as 5 are welcome.
Please provide 1 adult to supervise every 2 children under age 10 and 1 adult for every 5 children ages 10-15.
Children above the age of 16 can volunteer on their own.
Please note that our dock-high warehouse is not, at this time, ADA accessible. Please let us know in advance if you have any special needs so we can do our best to accommodate you.
